I have been working on having a more "productive energy" for a while now, and feel I am finely getting the principles down and want to share those principles with my family and friends.
When we repeatedly step forward, we propel ourselves forward even further. When we continually stand still, we dig a bigger rut. When we continually move backward, we dig a big hole.
There is a section in my CAN titled "Goals" I have been setting goals for years BUT it wasn't until I started looking at a daily action plan that I started to accomplish those goals.
Some of those goals I am still striving to complete! Example: I used to set down and write down a list of things I would like to accomplish (goals) then a week would go by, sometimes months would go by and I would find that I still had the same things on my list. I felt like a hamster on a tread mill constantly moving but not going anywhere!Daily Decisions Decide Destiny!

Once a week I review my "Dreams" and then I take a look at my week and plug in my action plan to accomplish those goals and dreams!

Here is how I got started with Productive Energy...........Make a list ... and make sure to check it twice: The first step in building productive energy is to be focused on the right track. Have a clear list of what you want to accomplish with clear and attainable time lines. Make sure to star three items for the day that will allow you to feel good about the day regardless of what bumps pop up in your path. ( I always put a big star by "get up" on my list! I am pretty sure I will accomplish! Hey, it is good to have something to check off at the end of the day!!)
Get started early: Make sure to start your action list early in the day to build momentum.
Recharge: In order to be productive, you must have balance and that means learning what you personally need to recharge. Some people need quiet time each day, others just need a good night's rest. Discover what helps you recharge and work that it into your to-do lists.
Forget revving your engine and just go... The great thing about productive energy is you don't have to prepare or spend a lot of time thinking about it. Often we over-think and would be much better off following the Nike slogan. Push yourself over inaction and you'll discover that productive energy is ready and waiting for you whenever you need it.
Review and the end of the day: This was a big one for me, instead of getting to the end of the day and feeling overwhelmed by all I didn't get done. I get to look at what I did do. This is the time of day I get to see all the "Great things that did happen"! Little by little, page by page I am moving closer to fulfilling my DREAMS!!
When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly. ~Edward Teller
