  • New Post, New Entry........what to write............this is how my blog has been going for the past while, and entry hear and an entry there, not because lack of things to write about or to celebrate, or even to share. I believe the reason is that I spend soooo much time on the computer doing homework that I have missed doing the one thing I have really come to enjoy over the past couple years and that is capturing all the greatness in my life. A year ago I started on a new journey and this journey like all journeys has brought challenge into my life again. I don't remember all the challenges I have had in my life time thank heavens but I do remember the one that have shaped me and helped me to come to know myself. This is one of those journeys. I began my quest to become a nurse 25 years ago taking classes from Provo technical collage, during my first year I met and fell hopelessly in love with my sweet husband soon afterwords I found myself a mother and fell in love again. I loved being a mother and as my children grew my passion for motherhood grew, I am so very thankful for my journey in motherhood. I am not closing that journey, in fact I am looking forward to an eternity of this journey. I am however, picking up on a new path and looking forward to where it may lead me. I am halfway done with my pre-requisite classes. I can check off my list math, anatomy, medical terminology, and English. That may not seem like a lot, but keep in mind I had to take 3 math classes, and 2 English to get to the ones I needed to meet the pre-requisites! So now one to Chemistry, and Physiology! I am also taking a computer literacy class and a fictional literacy class to meet some of my generals towards my associate degree. I can say that I am enjoying learning, and at the same time overwhelmed with it all. So onward and upward!!!!

Manti Temple

Summer is coming to an End at the Cox household! Sad but true. Alex left last Thursday for Dixie State, Alysa and I start at Weber State on Monday, Kasey starts on the 30th at Utah State, and Brady is doing an internship in Washington D.C. starting in September! I have learned so much this summer: Like how do live with adult children...............how to succeed in math 2015............becoming a certified nurse assistant.............I have learned to let housework fly out the window.............and then play catch up............learned how to grow a mini garden.............have play days with my Mr. Cox and so many many wonderful things. I love life and celebrate the time I have had with my family. So back to catching up on my yard and home and hope to be ready for school in 7 days!

Wow! How time flies when you would rather be BOGGING! This has been a crazy busy month and it is not over yet. I need your prayers to help me get through these next couple of weeks. I keep asking myself if this is all going to be worth it in the end!! I love my family and all the support they give me. Especially my great man, who has made a great wife these past few weeks taking great care of me!!

4th of July Fun!

Happy Birthday America!
We started out the 4th of July celebration going to a REAL soccer game in Salt Lake on Friday night followed by fireworks. Forgot my camera! The boys then went on their annual 4th of July early morning hike, Alysa and I went on a bike ride!!. The celebration in small town Willard are always a highlight. The fireworks are always the best part! My family came over on Sunday for a picnic, always so much fun getting together with family. Lindsey's kids were sick so they couldn't make it.....we missed them. The little girls put on some fun skits! WE should have videoed them. It was so much fun they had us in tears laughing! I am thankful for my freedoms and all that living in this beautiful land has to offer. My heart goes out to all those who fight to preserve our freedom
