When problems arise, don’t get furious, get curious. Anonymous

I have always been an advocate of asking questions. I am a knowledge-seeker. I love to learn about people, about places, about anything. I love to see how other people think, why things exist and how they got there. I love to learn about my body and how it works, what things I can do to help it function better.

Today’s quote stresses the importance of “questions” in our lives. I think one skill we could all benefit from is that of asking more questions. When something goes wrong, instead of getting upset, we could ask: How did this happen? Why did this happen? Did I contribute to it in any way? Is there something I could do differently? What are other ways this situation could have turned out? The questions are endless and they will be much more productive than anger. Questions help us learn about ourselves, others and how things work!

Today, try to ask 100 questions to yourself or those around you. At the end of the day, evaluate how much you have learned by having a “questioning” attitude versus an “I already know the answer” attitude.

Your affirmation: Each day I learn something new.

I love spring rain!

Did I say " I love spring rain"? I don't know about the spring snow but I do love the rain!! Why? It makes everything brighter! I love the color of grass in the spring, it is a glorious green. I love that the blossoms are starting to come out. Apricots first then cherries, then peaches followed by apple blossoms! When you live in Willard along the fruit way you get to see it all!! The water falls are going full force along the mountains and the flowers are starting to come out! It is a beautiful time of year!! I am even getting used to setting through soccer games in the RAIN! As long as you have a good umbrella, water proof shoes, and a good rain coat it is the BEST!!

Friday Memes

Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Breakfast
When was the last time you did something for the first time? What was it? I went to a spa about a month ago! I am now hooked!! Thank you honey!!

Lunch
What's your middle name? Why? I don't have a middle name!

Dinner
What was the first car you drove? The first car I ever drove was a BLUE Astra, I haven't seen an Astra for a long time! It was a car my parents bought from my Uncle Bill as a car that we could share as siblings, It was a sporty looking car and I thought it was the coolest car ever! I wish I had a picture of it!!

Midnight Snack
What is the strangest/weirdest gift you have ever received? My husband one year for mothers day gave me a book called "Strangling Your Husband Is NOT an Option", He thought it was about how to deal with your husband, put up with their flaws and short comings!! HA HA , it was about what we as women need to do to keep our husband happy! I was sooooo offended by the book because I thought he was hinting that I needed to do all those things!! I didn't talk with him for a while! We laugh about it now!!

Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)
When you make a mistake, don’t look back at it long. Take the reason of the thing into your mind and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.—Hugh White

soccer team update

The BEHS soccer team has had some bad luck the past couple games..................we just can't seem to get it in the NET! Two losses in a ROW is hard to take! Soccer is such a hard fought game, it takes such tremendous stamina and strength to compete, kudos to the team for their fight and determination, IT WILL PAY OFF!
Enjoy the following pictures ( just some soccer mom bragging rights!) Well I did take the pictures!!

Why not go out on a limb? That’s where all the fruit is”—Will Rogers

Take a moment to think about the times in your life when you felt the most esteemed, proud, excited, and fulfilled. What happened to create those feelings? Were you going through your day on auto-pilot and just doing the same-old, same-old? Or was something different?

I am going to take a wild guess that something was different. I am going to guess that when you felt that way, it was because you had reached further, discovered something new, challenged yourself, or taken a chance. And you surprised yourself by learning that chance, change and challenge can be good things. Feelings of esteem, pride, excitement, and fulfillment are derived from an “I CAN” attitude. An “I CAN” attitude leads to an “I DO” world.

Today’s quote reminds us that to reach life’s fruit, we have to go out on a limb and get it. We can sit and wait for it to come to us, but it could be a very long wait and there is no guarantee that we would ever get “fed.” What area of your life is calling for you to meet it halfway? What are you going to do about it?

Whether you think you "CAN" or you "CAN'T" your RIGHT!!
