family blessings

Family Blessings:

We are feeling so blessed! We had a wonderful day as a family celebrating Brady and Rachel's wedding last Saturday (pictures and more to come).

We are aso really happy and blessed to have another missionary leave our home. Alex received his call to serve in the Eugene, Oregon mission. His is prepare to speak the Spanish language. Alex seems very prepared and anxious to serve. He is such a great example to all of us. Just want him to know how proud I am of him for all he does and the life he lives. So the mission prep BEGINS!!

Happy Birthday to my Valentine!! I am so blessed to have this man in my life!! We have so much fun together and our love for each other just continues to grow through the good the bad and the ugly :) We celebrated this year by going out on Friday night to Roosters (great food ) and then to a WSU Hockey game. I knew that John would love any sporting event that had to do with a net!! It was very exciting and fun to watch, and it also made me grateful none of my boys wanted to try that SPORT! Very physical!!

Saturday night we went to a BIG BAND ballroom dance, we had some dance instruction for about an hour and then had some fun trying out our new moves on the dance floor, lets just say we had a lot of laughs!! It was fun weekend mostly because we took some much needed time to be together. Tonight we will celebrate with our wonderful family having a pasta dinner by candle light and eating Birthday cake!!.

Life is worth Celebrating and I am so glad I have had 25 years worth of celebration with this great guy!!

I could say I got really lucky when I got you for a husband. But the truth is, I think God had us picked out for each other from the very beginning. And that makes me more than lucky. That makes me blessed!!
Happy Valentine's Day
I LOVE YOU!!

Sisters

One of the Best things in life are SISTERS!! I have have three of the very best!!! When I was just two years only I was blessed with one of the best gifts of my life............my sister Kathryn. She has always been one of my very bestest friends. We have done everything together.........we played dolls together, we fed them, dressed them and play for hours..........we had the best time playing with our Barbies had the very best Barbie houses that we would make with our imaginations ...............we sang for hours with Donny and Marie on our front porch..............we have had the best of bedtime talks.......we learned to drive together!!!!! We watch Luke and Laura get married (after our grandmother got us hooked on General Hospital) And shared many of our crushes and boy talk together. Kathryn was the first one I shared my engagement news with and she stood my by bed and held my hand when I lost my first baby......... we shared having our babies together, raising them together.......we have shared our heartaches and our vises! There is nothing better in the world than a sister :) Thank you Kathryn for being such a great sister...............I love you!

So Nice to See the SUN!

So Nice to see the Sun! So many things we take for granted when we see or experience them all the time and it is usually not until they are taken away from us that we appreciate them. I love sunny days, I don't mind a snowy or rainy day but when the sun doesn't shine for many days that I truly start to miss the sun, and when the sun finally peeks its head out, wow what a feeling. That goes for many other things in my life, like all those years that I had children to mother, or calling my Dad just to say hi and shoot the breeze with him. I guess during those times of my life, I thought that I would always have those things in my life and then before I realized it my children grew up and my Dad passed away. So on days that I see the sun shinning I try to remember to appreciate all that is wonderful and great in my life. I love my family and am trying harder to appreciate the great relationships in my life. Last week I had a fun day with my sister Kathryn cleaning her home and getting it ready for her missionary to come home to. We talked and worked and enjoyed being sisters again. We also took a time out and went to lunch with our sister in law Karen, what a time we had catching up, laughing and crying together. Thank you sun for shinning today!
